Many liquid biopsy tests are based on circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA). ctDNA is easier to isolate than CTCs, but ctDNA tests have low sensitivity at early stages of cancer.
ISET® combines ctDNA testing with the analysis of DNA from Circulating Tumor Cells (CTC-DNA), overcoming sensitivity challenges in using ctDNA for early-stage cancer detection and providing a more accurate solution for identifying early stage cancer and cancer recurrence.
